Many people want to try ChatGPT for a quick question without creating an account or installing an app. chagpt.org gives them a clean page where they can do exactly that.
Next to the chat we publish practical guides: what ChatGPT is, how the GPT-6 models differ, and step-by-step how-tos for common tasks such as summarizing, translating or planning a trip.

chagpt.org is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to OpenAI. ChatGPT and GPT are trademarks of OpenAI and are used here only to describe the technology.
The chat sends messages to OpenAI's GPT-6 Luna model through OpenRouter, a service that provides access to AI models from many companies.
How it stays free
We pay for the model usage ourselves. Daily fair-use limits per connection keep the cost predictable so the chat can stay free and open to everyone.
How we keep the guides accurate
- Model details such as prices, context windows and release dates come from public listings and are dated on each page.
- We describe what models are good at in plain terms and avoid unverified benchmark claims.
- Pages are reviewed when new models are released or prices change.
